This will walk you through the basic process of creating an event on Best Coast Pairings as an event organizer. There are more advanced options in each step but this is setup will show you how to quickly get an event set up using your game systems recommended default settings
1. Click on ORGANIZE
2. Click on NEW EVENT
3. Click on Organization
If you are not part of an organization this field will not display it all. If you are assigned to an organization you will be prompted to choose which one you want to create the event for. If not making the event as part of one of your assigned orgs, choose "Self".
4. Choose the game system you want to create your event for
In this example we are using Warhammer 40k
5. Click on the image if you would like to add a image for your event
6. There are a few mandatory field such as the Event name
7. Choose the location for your event
this is also mandatory. You will be prompted to either add a new location or select from your previously used saved locations.
8. Type "Your description here"
You can add additional details for your event here like links to the location, players packet, or similar. Anything added to this field will display on the main page of your event once created.
9. Click on NEXT: GAME CONFIGURATION
10. Click on USE RECOMMENDED& TICKETS
This walkthrough is showing how to setup a the recommended details for your game system, generally you should not need to change anything on this page for basic setup.
11. Click on NEXT: REGISTRATION & TICKETS
12. Choose how players will register for your event
You can either manually add players to the event yourself, or use online registration. Best Coast Pairings helps you to sell tickets to your events with our platform if you add a payment account, but you can always have players register for and event for free also. You can always enable online registration after your event has been created.
13. Click on Player Check-In
14. Select Players can check-in themselves with their phones.…
15. Click on CREATE EVENT
Once you hit CREATE EVENT your event is live. You will be taken to default organizer page for your event and can choose to navigate to any of the TO options from there. You can share your events landing page and you can start adding player or allow them to register.
