Creating and Running Teams "Doubles" Events

This will walk you through how to set up a team event in the "doubles" format. This does not mean you are limited to only having two players per team however, you can have as many players as you want per team for your event.

​Login to Bestcoastpairings.com, Organize, and create a new event

1. Fill in your event information as normal, on "Event Type" Click on Doubles Event

2. Once you have created the event, from the Roster you can add teams

3. Teams can choose a team name, and add a team captain

4. Clicking on ADD CAPTAIN AS PLAYER adds the Captain as a player

The captain does not have to be a player on the team

5. When adding a player to the team, you will see the standard player add to the roster

6. Click on REGISTER to add the player to the team

7. Click on ADD PLAYER to add additional players

repeat this process till all players are added to the team

8. Click on CHECK IN or REGISTER as normal after you have added all the players

9. Once all teams are registered and checked in, Click on Pairings

10. Click on START TOURNAMENT

11. Click on the table number to open the score card

12. Record the scores for the match, usually the number of wins the team has and then SUBMIT SCORE to enter the results
